Pastor J.L. Walker hails from Fayetteville, NC. Pastor is a highly sought after evangelist and has received numerous accolades for his involvements with at risk youth and for his work in the community as an advocate for the disenfranchised. He will tell you that accolades are good,but the joy he receives from the laughter of his daughters and love from hislife, First Lady are priceless.

Pastor Walker is the husband of one wife, First Lady Tiffany L. Walker. He has often said that she is the apple of his eye, the peach in his cobbler and syrup on his pancakes. They were married in August of 1999,and have two daughters Alexis, and Kandice.

Pastor Walker accepted his call into the ministry of God May 15, 1998 and preached his first sermon “The Seven Things You Receive, When You Receive the Holy Ghost”, July of 1998. He became a licensed minister in August of 1999 and was ordained as an Elder in August of 2001.

Pastor Walker has held various positions and served on many committees in the church. He has served as a state adjutant, a youth minister, president of the Teen choir, president of the teen department, president of the youth department, teen choir director, president of the sanctuary choir, brotherhood choir director, sanctuary choir director, as a church musician, as a founding member and chaplain of the Alpha Beta Pi chapter of Phi Beta Sigma.

In August 2007, Pastor Walker received a vision from the Lord to plant a new church in Alamogordo,this vision later lead to the opening of New Covenant Worship Center on February 24, 2008. The motto of New Covenant is Christ Centered, and Family Focused it is a place to Believe, Belong, and Become.
